SUICIDE BY HANGING.

CnRiSTCHCRCH, Wednesday. An* inquest was held at the city morgue to-day, before Mr. H. W. Bishop, district Coroner, touching the death of Thomas Rhodes Christian, an elderly man, who was found the previous morning hanging from . a beam in a workshop in Madrasstreet. After hearing . evidence, . the Coroner returned a verdict that ,the deceased had committed suicide while in an unsound state of mind.
