St. Andrew's Society held a concert and social" gathering last night in the Choral Hall. About 400 people attended, and an enjoyable programme of Scotch items was gone through, every item being encored. A greeting was read from St. Andrew's Society, Edinburgh, and a bunch of heather from the Cramp-, ians was distributed among those present* At the conclusion of the concert- an adjournment was made to the annexe, where a bountiful supper was laid. Prior to the concert the members of the pipe band played outside the- hall, and later in the •evening played dance mmic for those peri.Corminc on the stage.
