Christchurch, Monday. A narrow escape s from drowning : occurred in Lyttelton Harbour yesterday. Two men who were .out in a fishing boat were capsized into , the water, and were soon in a very precarious condition. Fortunately for them they were observed from Fort Jervois, where the Lyttelton Navals were in camp, and Chief PeEly Officer Toomey put out in a" cutter.
