FISHING AT TOKAANU.

Reports as to the trout fishing atTokaanu show that the season so far has been unusually good. Big fish are plentiful, and are said ( to be of an improving quality. The jollowing are a few of the best catches made there during the present month :

November 2': Messrs. Butler and Asher, 11 fish, averaging 101b each, the heaviest being 16|fb.

November 11 : Messrs. Jones and Butler, 12 fish, averaging lOilb.

November 13 : Messrs. Jones and Butler, seven fi?h, averaging 9ilb.

November 16 : Messrs. Musher and Berry, 10 fish, averaging 9|lb. November 17 : Messrs. Jones and Butler, ; eight fish, averaging 7£lb.
