Spedding, the local agent for the Australian Mail Line, intimates that the s.s. Riverdale'left San Francisco for Auckland, via Apia, on November 20. She will be due' here about December 18. ■•?: • ■, '-•■'•;. - THE STAR OF SCOTLAND. The Tyser liner Star of Scotland, Captain E. D. Beck, arrived from London, via Melbourne and Sydney, early yesterday morning, and, being granted pratique, berthed at the Railway Wharf. 'The steamer left London on September 25 and ; experienced very rough weather on the voyage from London to Melbourne. After discharging cargo at Melbourne the Star of Scotland proceeded ' to Svdnev, where further freight was discharged. She 'left the latter port for Auckland on the 16th inst. and met with fine weather crossing the Tasman Sea and steaming down the New Zealand coast, the harbour being jeached as above. The steamer will remain in port until Saturday, when - she will sail for.the South. In, the meantime she Trill load wool,' etc., for London. THE INDBADEVI. THE WAIWERA SIGNALLED. The local agents for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company (Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co., Limited) advise that the steamer Waiwera, outward-bound from London to Auckland, was signalled at Hobart yesterday morning. The Waiwera will call at Hobart in order to land 40 tons of gunpowder and explosives, and will then continue her voyage to Auckland, where she is expected about JSovember 29. i PORT OF ONEHUNGA.
