The agreement between the Wellington City Council and the Wellington Gas Company, concerning the Melrose gas main and other matters, was signed and sealed at Friday night's meeting of the City Council. The Mayor stated that the agreement came into force as soon as it was signed by one of the parties. . His remark was greeted by a chorus of hear, hears.
