' TARANAKJ OIL COMPANY. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Saturday. The annual report of the Taranaki Oil and Freehold Company states that the bore is now down 1369 ft, and the excellent shows of oil obtained justify the expectation that payable results are near at hand. Funds, however, are exhausted, and it is necessary to consider whether additional monoy shall be subscribed or reconstruction faced. The Company has 3000 unissued and forfeited shares and land and plant, costing nearly £6000, against which there are liabilities of about £650.
