OVERSEA ARRIVALS.

THE TURAKINA'S ; PASSENGERS.[BY TELEGRAPH.— association.] 1" Wellington-, Tuesday. The New. Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina brought 259 passengers to-day from London, of whom 32 were in the first saloon and 53 in the second saloon. Assisted passengers numbered 22, comprising 10 women, nine men, and three children. There, were 12 adulte approved by ; the ,High Commissioner, and seven adults were nominated by relatives in New Zealand. Pour farmers, two farm labourers, and five domestics were included amongst the passengers. None of the latter were open for engagement, all having work to go to. : '•,-,'-.,-.: .
