Och Maungaturoto correspondent, supplies tho following facts relative to the reported discovery of gold in that neighbourhood. After considerable prospecting, Mr. Henry Heaven, of Maungaturoto, he states, located a large body of stone, samples of which eave the following analysis: Gold, 12dwt 14gr; silver, 3oz 3dwt; total value, £2 16s 2d per ton. ,As soon as tho Mines Department render it possible, claims will be pegged out, and the area more thoroughly tested.
