RIFLE-SHOOTING.
AKAKANA CLUB. The members of the Akarana Defence' Rifle Club fired the usual trophy matches on Saturday afternoon at the Penrose range. A' class shots competed for Mr. W. Rainger'9 trophy < and B class shots for the president's (Mr. W. S. ! Moore) • trophy. The ranges were 200 yds; and 500 yds, 10 shots at each distance. The best range scores; were those of M. N.
