• Mr.' Churchill, speaking at the anniversary banquet, said that stormy weather ' was coming, and the eraitf would have .to cope with the Lords, also the ladies. (Laughter:) In regard to the Budget, he expressed defiance towards the Lords and confidence in the Deoole. He declared that the House of Lords was offering battle on the worst possible ground for themselves.
