THE EMIGRATING SEASON.
MANY FOR - NEW ZEALAND. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.J :"". - ... London, October 8. ■'Tick stream of emigration lias now, definitely set towards Australia, which has suddenly earned an accession of popularity in emigrating circles here. , This -will ensure New Zealand » a continuous -stream -■ of people irrespective of anything' that may be done by the Dominion Government. The lonic and Turakina have recently taken out considerable . companies for New Zealand, and the Morayshire, which is to leave : Liverpool in a few days, will take a good number. At present the New Zealand Government ia only assisting farmers, farm labourers, and domestics during the summer months. In the case of the two first-named their occupation is of a seasonal- nature, and it is wise that they should not be encouraged to emigrate in the winter, but there does not; seem to be any reason why domestics should not be sent out all the year round. They "could always be employed.
