Foulis, arrived from Duuediti, via the • usual way ports, at 8.45 a.m. yesterday* after a fair-weather passage. The Victoria, which berthed at the Queen-street Wharf, leaves for Sydney at 5.30 p.m. to-day. ——————————— o ' THE BREEZE. • % The 6te<uuer Breeze, which was announced in last week's cables as having left England for New Zealand, is the new vessel which has been built for the Canterbury Steam Shipping ■ Company, Limited, owners of the ■ well-known steamera Ripple and Storm. The Breeze is said to be a very handy cargo steamer of 720 tons dead-weight capacity, and is fitted with large hatches and all the latent appliances for rapid handling of cargo. Her principal dimensions aie:—Length lo'_'t> beam 36ft. depth of hold lift. She is fitted with electric light throughout, and has a speed of about nine knots when fully loaded. The- Breeze is coming-out from England via the Cape of . Good Hope, and her owners expect her to reach Lyttelton. about February 1. . NAVUA FROM WKSTPORT. The Union Company's steamer Navua is expected to put in an appearance at Auckland today, front West port. On the 24th inst. she will sail for Fiji. THE SYDNEY BOAT. Fine weather was experienced by the s.e. Wimmeri. Captain G. F. Entwisle (who ;is relieving Captain Wm. Waller), which arrived from Sydney at 6.30 p.m. yesterday. The Wimmera left Sydnev at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday last, passed Cape Maria Van Diemen at 1 a.m. yesterday, and arrived as above. She berthed at Queen-street | Wharf, and. will leave for Dunedin via ports to- j morrow afternoon. :;„ .. . TRANSHIPMENTS. .
