BOATING FATALITY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CokomandkC, Tuesday. . A boating accident occurred near Rangipuki yesterday. Koe, Papane, and Mrs. Elliot and the latter's 16-month-old child were the occupants of the boat, which was caught,by a squall and sank. The accident" happened about three miles off Matoik'i, and a desperate struggle for life ensued. Papane made great efforts to save the child, but without avail. Ultimately the two men. and the woman reached the shore in a very exhausted condition. The, body of \h& child was found on Manaia beach this morning.
