The Southland Daily News says that a gentleman at present in Invercargill has discovered a new and effective process for saving the light and fine gold in New Zealand black sands, etc. The process is said to be extremely simple and inexpensive, and especially adapted for the lightest of gold. At present it is in the hands of ; a Dunedin gentleman, who is ' forming a syndicate to work it.
