« <► —■—— MR. CLYDE FITCH. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. (Received September 7, 12.5 a.m.) London, September 6. The death occurred to-day from appendicitis of Mr. Clyde Fitch, dramatist and author, in his 44th year. The late Mr. Clyde Fitch, dramatist and author, was best known in the former capacity, some of his plays being widely popular. Among his best known plays were: Beau Brummel," "Barbara Frietchie," " The Moth and the Flame," '" The Way of the World," " Captain Jinks of "the Horse Marines," "The Woman in the Case," and " The Truth."
