POLICE PROTECTION WANTED
[BY TELEGRAPH.--OWN COKRESFOKDIJ^-J ; Taubaxga, Tuesday. ;p It has been reported to the police that the drapery shop of Mr. H. T. Casj taing was entered last night, and a small sum of money taken. In view of the, increase of Police Court work of a series nature, the Government is to be urged to provide additional police protection, the present state of things being generally considered unfair, both .to the.inhabitants and to the single police officer who is expected to do all the work of the town and large surrounding district.
