TSAR'S ENGLISH VISIT.

THE TRIPLE ENTENTE. Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.— Copyright.

St. Petersburg, August 4. The Bourse Gazette says that although the word " treaty" was not mentioned in the speeches of either King Edward or the Tsar during the honouring of the toasts at the banquet on board the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert, the understanding between Russia, Britain, and France had evidently taken deep root.

A, DAY AT OSBORNE. (Received August 5, 11 p.m.)

London, August 5.. King Edward and the Tsar landed quietly from the Royal yacht to-day, and visited the Naval College at Os-

borne.

Their Majesties attended a banquet given by the Royal yacht squadron last evening in honour of the Tsar's election as a member.
