A SIDE STREET SHOW.
NEW ZEALAND IN LONDON.
MORE ADVERTISING REQUIRED.
[by TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
New Plymouth, Sunday. One thing that struck both Mr. J. B. Connett and Mr. Newton King, while on a recent" visit to London, was that New Zealand was not (sufficiently advertised in T ondon. We are, in , their opinion, far behind the other colonies in this respect. For instance, .Canada,' Rhodesia, Victoria, and Queensland, all have their AgentGenerals' and High Commissioners' quarters in the Strand- There they have a shop .in which they show antlers of deer, and other trophies of sport, wheat, wool, fruits, and various other products of the soil, as well as photographs of scenery, ; etc. These displays are made on the Strand, where -there is always a crowd of people,, and where one may always see a number of people inspecting and examining articles shown. Bat no such advertisement of New Zealand can be seen anywhere. The New Zealand High Commissioner's office is situated upstairs in a side street. •' ■ .<
