MOTORING.
Gradually, but surely, the prejudice of the Pope against self-propelled vehicles has been broken down, and it is now announced that His Holiness has been presented with a luxurious motor-car, built at Turin expressly for. him. As the Pope never leaves the "Vatican, the car will not have any arduous duties to perform, its work being confined to perambulations of the extensive Vatican grounds, His- Holiness has expressed hie warm appreciation of the gift.
