A good tone again prevailed upon the sharemarkefc yesterday. In investment lines South British Insurances firmed at 535, sellers quoting that figure, and buyers 51s 3d. Wcstport Coals changed hands at £6 10s; Northern Steams (paid up) at 13s; and "Wilsons Portland Cements (preference) at 38s. In mining lines Talismans -were done at 53s 6d and 535, with sellers at 53s and buyers at 52s 9d.' In Waihis sellers closed at £9 6s. and buyers at £9 4s 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions were disposed of at from 46s'6d to 46s 9d to 46s 6d to 46s 3d to 46s to 46s 6d to 45s 9d to 465, with sellers at. 46s 3d, and buyers at.4ss 9d. Grand Junction options sold at 21s 9d and 21s 6d. Waihi Consolidated? changed hands at 4s 8d and 4s 9d; and Waihi Extendeds at 6s 7d. In Thames stocks sales were reported in Bonanzas (contributing) at Bd, 7£d, and 7d; Dixon's Consolidatcds at lljd and lid; Halcyons at sd. Kuranui-Caledonians maintained their previous day's advance at Is 9d and Is Bd. Kuranuis sold at Is 4d; New Sylvias at 3s 2d, 3s 3d, and 3s 4d; Old Alburnias (paid up) at Is 5d and Is 6d. Saxons firmed at 2s 6d, 2s Bd, and 2$ 9d. Thames were done at .from Hid to lid to Hid to lid Victorias at is 9d; Waiotahis at 3s 5d and 3s 6d; Watchmans at Is lid and 2s.
