SHORT WEIGHT BREAD.
BAKERS FINED. [from OUR OWN correspondent.] Hamilton, Monday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. F. 08. Loughnan, S.M., Arthur Boycc was fined £5, with 15s costs, and M. Gleeson £10, with 18s costs, for selling short weight bread. The magistrate said the fines would not be any hardship as defendants had made ample from the public to pay them.
