.NORTHERN ASSOCIATION ANOTHER CARNIVAL ARRANGED. At a meeting of the committee of the Northern. Boxing: Association last evening- it was resolved that the 1909 provincial amateur championships for the five classes be held at the Opera House, Wellesley-«treet, on July 5, the profits derived to be devoted to sending: a. representative team .to compete in 'he New Zealand championships, to beheld at Diincdiii on July 22 and 23. On the tame date O'Meara and Taylor will decide the final of the Bat 71b novice tournament, which was left over from the last carnival.
