POLLARD'S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY. This evening at, His Majesty's Theatre will be presented "Bluebell in Fairyland," the success of Seymour Hicks' theatre, and the piece which the Pollard Juvenile Opera Company so sueeesssfully presented on tho occasion of their former visit to Auckland. "Bluebell in Fairyland" will l>c staged for three performances only, viz., to-night, to-morrow night, and for the last, matinee of the- season on Saturday afternoon. " His Highness the Bey," the last piece of the season, will bo presented on Saturday evening. OPERA HOUSE. The entertainment provided by Fuller's AN ide World Pictures this week is, perhaps, more interesting and varied than usual, and the patronage accorded is in unison with the fare provided. The dismounting and skirmishing evolutions of the Russian rivalry are well portrayed on the screen, and cause a fair amount of mild excitement amongst the audience. The ciuephone records are nightly received with every mark of approval The same programme can only be repeated two more nights. PATUE PICTURES. The Royal Albert Hall was again well patronised last night, when the Pat ho Pictures were screened. Among the films that came in for special applause were "Tho Romance of Ingomar," "The New Century 'Thieves." "The Energetic Woman," i "Baby Competition," "Mr. Jannty's Recep- i tion," and "The Cat Came Back." The i same programme will be repeated to-night. TIVOLT THEATRE. There was a good attendance at the Tivoli Theatre last night, when this week's popular programme was repeated. As on tin previous evening, the various films met. with general approval. The songs, " Mainly's Wedding" and "Remember We Were Sweethearts" were successfully rendered by Master Hubert Carter. THE CINQUEVALLI SEASON. The season of vaudeville under the auspices of Mr. Harry Rickards will bo inaugurated on Tuesday evening at His Majesty's Theatre with one of the strongest companies ever sent to the Dominion. The bright particular stay is Paul Cinquevalli, whose marvellous feats of skill in balancing during his former visit some seven years ago will be remembered here. He is supported by first-class artists in all the various lines of vaudeville entertainment. Frank and Jen Latona, who bring with them a high reputation from America, give a humorous act interspersed with musical items. Lawson and Namon do an original comedy act, including ball punching and trick cycling. • Miss Namon is said to possess a 'magnificent physique, and her scientific ball punching is a feature of the entertainment. A quartette of vocalists, under the title of Mackinnon's Scottish Meisters, will give Scottish glees and comic songs. Guest and Ncwlyn give a comedy sketch, and are also said to be excellent dancers. Mr. Tom Dawson, the favourite comedian, well known in Auckland, Misses Fanny Powers and Nellie Maunsell, and Mr. Arthur Harris complete the company. The plan of reserved seats opens this morning at Wildman and Arey's establishment.
A concert, programme provided by such popular artiste as Miss Blanche Garland, Miss Emily Moon, Miss Phyllis Mills, Messrs. L. Fristrom, Allen McElwain, Wilfred Manning and Dr. Hugh Keith speaks for itself, and should draw a crowded audience to-night at St. Stephen's Hall in Ponsonby. The programme will include vocal solos, duets, quartette, instrumental solos, and humorous recitations.
