"' ' ' '" " Cambridge, Wednesday. At a meeting of the School of Mines Council, Mr. C. A. Cotton, M.Sc, tendered his resignation as director, he having been appointed lecturer in geology at Victoria College, Wellington. The resignation was accepted with regret, and it was decided to invite applications for the position of director at a salary of £200 per annum, applications to be sent in by May 10, and the successful applicant to eminence his duties on June 1.
