The Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Newmarket hereby give notice that they propose to borrow by way of Special Loan the sum of £5000. I. The particular purpose for which the Loan is required is to carry out drainage works in the said Borough. 11. The proposed security for the said Loan is a Special Rate. 3d in the £ on the Ratable Value of all Ratable Property in the Borough. * 111. The provisions for repayment of the Loan is as follows: — It is proposed to borrow the amount of the Loan from the Government, paying interest thereon at th© rate of £4 10s per cent, per annum, for the period of 26 years, at the end of which period all further liability of the Borough in respect of the Loan both for principal and interest will cease.
