The Onehunga cricket team played a return match against Awhitu at Awhitu, when the latter won by 14 runs on the first innings. Onehunga were all out for 16 runs in the first innings, and at the second attempt com-' piled 54 runs for the loss of four wickets. Awhitu made 30 runs in their first, and in their second innings knocked up 121 runs with only four wickets down, f 1 BOWLING. ; The annual bowling match between Ara Lodge, No. 348, 1.C., and Lodge Ara, No. 1, N.Z.C.. was played on the Remuera green yesterday, and resulted in a win for Lodge Ara No. 1. by a margin of 53 points. At the annual meeting of the Taeroa Golf Club officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows .-—President. Mr. E. W. Porritt; vice-presi-dent, Mr. F. H. Daw; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. M. McDonnell; committee, Messrs R. T. Bush, C. Meredith, and A. P. Matthews'-' match captain, Mr. V. H. Daw; handicapners Messrs. MeDomell, Meredith, and Matthewsgreen superintendent, Mr. McDonnell; secretary tD ladies' committee, Mrs. Murphy. At Mrs. Porritt's residence yesterday the lady members of the Paeroa Golf Club entertained Mr. M. J. Harris, one of their vice-presidents, at afternoon tea prior to his departure from Pueroa. During the afternoon Mr. Harris was presented with an autograph album. CAMBRIDGE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Cambridge Golf Club was held on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance of members and Mr. James Anderson presided. Mr. A. H. Nicoll (secretary and treasurer) read the annual report and balancesheet. The latter showed the debit balance to be £38 16s 9d. The report explained that the deficit wai due to the expenditure incurred in removing and adding to the pavilion. The past season was referred to as a highly-satisfactory ore. The committee reported having arranged with Mr F. O'Toole to take charge of the greens, an arrangement which it was hoped would prove entirely satisfactory. The eclectic competitions had proved of so much interest that their continuance was ' ecommended. The thanks of the club were due to those who had kindly donated trophies. The report and ' balance-sheet were adopted. A special vote of thanks was passed to Mr. F. C. Bunyard for drawing the plans .And supervising tho work at the new pavilion. Votes of thanks were also passed to the outgoing ofllcers. The following were elected new members: Misses Pasley and Swayne (2), Messrs. F. Reynolds, D. Anderson, C. Huge, and J. Bryee. Officers for the ensuing year were elected 'as follows :—President, Dr. Roberts; vicepresidents. Messrs. James Anderson and W. R. C. Walker; Management Committee. Messrs. P. A. E. Forbes, E. Caddy, E. J. Wilkinson, Mrs. Bunyard, .Misses Wells, K. Willis, and Brooks; green superintendent. Mr. Boston S. Couper; captain, Mr. U. J. Roberts; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. H. Nicoll (re-elected); auditor, Mr.' N. R. Farnall. The opening day was fixed for Wednesday. April 21.
