This New Zealand Marathon race was run from Howick to Auckland, a distance of 13 miles, on Saturday afternoon, and was won by G. N. Hill (an Auckland youth) in the excellent time of lh. 18m. Twenty-two competitors started, and 16 finished. Our picture shows Hill passing the Eemuera saleyards.
