THE RUSSIAN ROBBERS.
TOTTENHAM OUTRAGE. COMPENSATION FOR VICTIMS. By Telegraph —Press Association.—CopyrightLondon, February 5. Mr. Herbert Gladstone, Secretary for Home Affairs, states that it is the intention of the Government to compensate the families of the victims of the recent Tottenham outrage. A crowd gave chase, and the thieves fired indiscriminately, killing a policeman and a boy. Later one of the Russians blew out hie brains when he saw* that capture was inevitable, and the other, taking refuge in a house, wae fatally wounded by a shot from a constable's revolver.
