ADMIRALTY'S STAND.
A THREAT TO RESIGN. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. (Received February 7, 4.30 p.m.) London, February 6. The Daily Express states that the Lords of the Admiralty informed the Cabinet that unless their programme was accepted they would resign in a body. Viscount Morley (Secretary of State for India) and Mr. John Burns (President of the Local Government Board) withdrew their opposition, but Mr. Lloyd George (Chancellor of the- Exchequer) and Mr. Winston Churchill (President of the Board of Trade) continue to oppose the proposals.
