A TEN' YEARS' RECORD. A table of returns was laid before the Senate of the University, of New Zealand yesterday, showing the nunfber of candidates for all examinations '/. for the ten years 1899 to 1908. It will be; seen from the. following table (compiled from these returns) that there has been-a continued increase in University students, as stated, by the Chancellor in his opening address , to the Senate: . - .
