Mr. Kettle ordered a further remand till ;his morning. Before Messrs. D. B. Wallaco and J. D. Walters, justices of the peace, W. Perry was charged with the theft of a rug, valued at .4s, from a resident of Ngaruawahia, on December 24, and on tho application of Stationiorgeant Hondry was remanded to appear it Ngaruawahia to-day.
