■ I [BY TELEGRAM. —PHES3 ASSOCIATION.] . CnßisTfJU'Rcu, Sunday. Rain records for the month of November showed only a trace, and farmers feared they were about to face a season of drought. Harvesting will bo general in the vicinity of Christ-church in a week of ten daye, and, though the mid-Canterbury is the best grain region in the Dominion, harvesting there will not be in full swing for a fortnight at least.
