Highway Districts. TTUNTLY TOWN DISTRICT, Notice is hereby given that at a Special > Meeting of the Huntly Town Board, held on. THURSDAY, the 3rd day of December. 1008, it was resolved, by way of Special Order. . that the Huntly Town Board do make and ; enact a By-law, the object, and purport of which is as follows: — Part I. contains the introductory and in- [• terpretation clauses. , Part 11. provides for the licensing of and j the fees payable by hawkers. Part 111. provides for- the regulation of traffic on the streets and roads of the Town District; prohibits riding, driving, or cvcling on footpaths; regn- ! lates the driving of loose horses through the Town District, and provides for the lighting of vehicles and bicycles be- . tween sunset and sunrise. * Part. IV. provides for the licensing and control of buildings for public meetings, etc., and also of billiard and bagatelle 1 rooms, and lays down the conditions under which licenses will be issued. Part V. requires that plans of proposed now buildings shall be submitted for [ the Hoard's approval, and that no building shall be erected or altered without the Board's permission. Part VI. prohibits the erection of any verandah or other projection over any public or private street without the Hoard's permission, and fixes the width of footpaths within the Town District. Part VII. fixes the penalties for breaches of this by-law. The said resolution will lxi submitted for confirmation at a .Special Meeting of the Hoard, to bo held at the Board's Office on the 14th day of January, 1909, at 7 p.m. A copy of the proposed By-law is deposited at the Office of the Board, Huntly, where the same will be open for public inspection ' during office hours until the date of tho ' confirming meeting. ■ \ Dated tins 12th day of December. 1906.
