With the approach of the holidays business on the Stock Exchange manifests a marked shrinkage in volume, and at today's call brokers reported but one sale, a parcel of Crown scrip at 3s lOd. Buyers declared for New Zealand Shipping at £6 12s 6d, Westport Stockton at 9s, New Zealand Portland Cement at £1 8s 3d, Talisman at £2 2s 3d, and Waihi at £8 16s.
