The Fanners' Co-operative Auctioneering Company report:— Ohaupo on the 29th ult. we held our annual hogget fair and usual fortnightly cattle sale, and have to report. one of the most successful snlea held for a considerable time. The entry consisted of 3-165 hoggets, 960 wethers, 57 ewes with lambs, and 1017 head of cattle. The sale commenced with the sheep, for which buyers wero plentiful, and as the hoggets and wethers had been wintered on turnips, they looked to advantage, and were a really first class lot. Ewe hoggets made from 12s 6d to 16s; wether hoggets, lis 6d to 14s; mixed sexes, 13a to 14s 6d; fat and forward wethers, 16s to 20s; store wethers, 13s 8d to 14s 6d; ewes with lambs, 17s 6d; pen of fat steers, £8 15s; 150 forward bullocks, £5 10s to £7 ss; choice yearling steers, £2 5s to £2 13s; extra good 15-month steers, £3; yearlings, mixed sexes, 30a to 37s 6d.
