Recently the Onehunga Borough Council decided to erect a mortuary chapel at the Waikaraka Cemetery, at a cost of £350, according to plan's submitted by Mr. J. Park, borough architect. Last night, the following tenders were received in connection with. the work W. J. Sayers, £358 (accepted); R. Barr, £363; J. Sovensen, £364; H. L. Northern, £365 T. Fletcher, £366; G. H James, £369; E. Morton, £410; C. W. Coldham, £431, and J. W. Banbury, £479. The structure is to be erected inside the main gate.;
