CUSTOMS RETURNS.
AUCKLAND IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. The Customs duties collected in Auckland during last month amounted to £65,413 4s 6d, as compared with £76,621 16s 2d for September, 1907. The beer duty amounted to £2167 Os sd, last year's figures being £1734 14s 6d. The following is the monthly return of exports for the ports of Auckland and Manukau, comparison with the corresponding month of last year being shown —
