SCULLING.
TOWNS V. BARRY.

London, September 11. The final deposit of £100 a-side in connection with the sculling match between George Towns, the former champion, and Ernest Barry, was made to-day. , Both men are in excellent condition. Prominent amateurs have generously assisted Towns in his training expenses.
The match between Towns and Barry is to take place on the Thames on Ootober 12.
