OVERDUE VESSELS.
THE AEON AND LOCH LOMOND. There is still no news regarding the bteamei Aeon, which left San Francisco on July 6 last for Apia and Auckland, the steamer Tofua, which is due at Auckland today from Samoa and Tonga, may bring some tidings of the missing vessel. The barque Loch Lomond, which is now 54 days out, bound from Newcastle to Lyttelton, has not yet been reported. The following are the officers and crew in the Loch Lomond:— J. Thompson, master; John Court, first officer; John Jathieson, second mate ; J. McCoffett, carpenter; John Miller, E. Waddington, 0. Brierley, J. Blanche, J. Jones, T. Guery, John McVicar, E. Stenson. J. McKay, M. D. Harrison, E. Reache, E. Reid, Norman Rawitt, seamen; H. Cooper, cook; A. Young, cabin boy. The master and the mate shipped on the vessel at Newcastle, the others having joined at. Melbourne, where the vessel was taken over by the Union Steam Ship Company at the time of her purchase.
