GOLF.

CAMBRIDGE CLUB. A further stage was reached in the men's championship, under the auspices of the Cambridge Golf Club, on Wednesday, there being only two players who have not completed their rounds. These will play off on Saturday. Up to th© present R. J. Roberts and E. J. Wilkinson aro leading, with equal scores, A. H. Nicoll being three strokes behind. The ladies' championship is also in progress. It. has been arranged that the annual interclub match with Hamilton shall take place on Wednesday next, on the Hamilton links.. The following will represent tho Cambridge Club:— .L Roberts. E. J. Wilkinson, A. H. Nicoll, B. S. Coupor, C. P. Stone, and Dr. Roberts, Mrs. Edmunds, Misses' Willis (2), Brooks, Lundon, and Ferguson. A combined team of nine men and six ladies from the Waihi and Paeroa clubs will visit Cambridge on Saturday week to try conclusions with the local golfers.
