REVENGE AND MURDER.; AN INDIAN SENSATION. 5 . By Telegraph.—Press Association.— (Received September 2,1.5 a.m.) , , Calcutta, September l. Goswami, ; the Calcutta ' reformer, who on June 24 declared that bombs had been made . for the- purpose vof , killing the Viceroy, Earl Minto, was' shot in revenge at the Alipur gaol hospital yesterday, , his assailants being two fellow accused, who had concealed revolvers supplied .by visiting friends. The two men . shammed illness, and were sent to the hospital. Goswami died immediately. Two European prisoners, who attempted to disarm the murderers, were seriously wounded. , The gaol authorities have frequently protested against the number of visitors to the gaol. .
