The building, which ha* • ost. hi 3,735 to construct, was begun early in 1907, and would have been completed some little time ago but for difficulties encountered in obtaining the iron staircases.. | J The new institute is fireproof throughout, and consists of two storeys. On the Around floor there is ' a large dining and Lcial hall, arid a schoolroom, which can be divided into three portions by folding partitions. There are aleo musicrooms and workrooms 011 the ground floor. On the first floor "there are four large dormitories for the pupils, as well as sittingrooms and bedrooms for teachers and staff. Iho ' .dormitories are light and well-ventilated chambers, leading on to the balcony, which runs right round the building.
