A new branch of the Manchester Unity Oddfellows, the Loyal Sisters of Hamilton- Lodge, was opened at Hamilton on Friday evening last by the officers of the Auckland district. Bros. Fredk. Shaw, Prov. G.M. ; H. A. A. Le Houx, Prov. D.G.M. ; John McLeod, district secretary; W. -Thomas, P.P.G.M., district treasurer; and Bro. T. Aitken, P.P.G.M., proceeded t» Hamilton for. the purpose of dedicating tho new lodge. There were also present representatives from the. Fountain of Friendship, Good Intent, Paruell, Charles Bruce, Waikato, Hamilton, Te Awamutu, and Union (Hawera) lodges. The following officers were elected in the Sisters of Hamilton Lodge, viz.:—Sisters S. Suisted, N.G. ; A. Hill, V.G. ; E. M. Staplefon, permanent secretary; J. Nichol, E.S. : K. MeVicar, treasurer: :M. Veates, A. McFailane, and P. King, trustees; M. Cave, H.K.N'.G.': 1' King, L.S.IS.G.; A. McFarlane, R.S.V.U. ; It. J Ring. L.S.V.G. ; K M. O. Scott, guardrail ; T. Spencer, warden: Bro. H. H. Veats, G.M. ; Bros. H. A. Whitaker, H. W. Salmon, and S. Wilson, committee of management; Bros. Mearß and , Mahon, auditors.
