The Tyse.r liner Indradevt, Captain Hollingsworth, arrived from Napier yesterday morning ho complete her loading for London, for which port she siJls direct to-morrow. The berque Casablanca (569 tons), now on her (way from Newcastle to Auckland with a cargo of coal, has been lixed to proceed to Hokianga on discharge to load timber for Adelaide. - She will then load salt and other cargo at Editbburgr for a New Zealand port. The three-masted auxiliary schooner Kaeo passed the East Capo on Sunday en route for Auckland. The scow Ururoa, which trades between Wanganui and Sydney, has been purchased by the ' Union Box Packing Company, of Sydney. The . barque Laura, now loadina hardwood at tha Clarence River for Kaipara, has been chartered to load timber at Kaipara for Sydney. The. Norwegian barque Sivah (1039 tons) has been chartered to load coal at Newcastle for Kaipara, where she will load timber for Melbourne. It is reported that negotiations are in progress for the purchase of the steamers Shaw- ■ iriut and 'fremont for the United States army transport service. Both steamers were built at Sparrows Point, Md., in 1902, and are 6195 net • tons each. The s.s. Lord Sefton leaves for Sydney this evening. The steamer Invcrtay is.expected to arrive at ■ Auckland to-day from "New York and Durban. The Tyser liner Hawkt's Bay is now due at this port from London. THE JEANARA. '> After what Captain Johnstone described as one of the moat comfortable and pleasant trips he has ever had the A. aurj A. steamer Jeanara ar,rived yesterday from New York and Australia. The voyage to Melbourne occupied 57 days. Six days before the Jeimra sailed the s.s. Kllchatten was despatched from New York for Melbourne, via Adelaide The captain of the, latter vessel averred that he would have visited Adelaide, and '•ft Melbourne before the .Jeanara rrived there. Captain Johnstone, however, overtook him near the Capo, and the Kllchatten only arrived at Adelaide on the same day as the Jeanara. There was: not a ripple on the water ail the way from New York except during one or two small blows off the African coast. The steamer called at Sydney, and alter putting out cargo took her departure for Auckland on Wednesday morning last, arriving a above. Fine w<athcr was also .experienced .in the voyage from Sydney to Auckland. The Jeanara took up an anchorage in the strewn and will berth at Quay-street Jetty No. '£ this morning. '* .
