EGG-LATINO COMPETITION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] . Christchtjrch, Monday. For the week ending August 14, 964 eggs were laid by the hens entered in the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's fourth egglaying competition at Lincoln College, the total to date being now 13,402. The best layings for the week were:—Mr. T. Kennedy's silver Wyandotte?, 35; Mrs. J. Mills' white Leghorns, 31; Mr. Allan Petrie's white Leghorns, 29; Mr. W. A. Nixon's white Leghorns, 28; Mr. W. A. Nixon's silver 'Wvandottes, 28; Mr. A. W. Broadway's silver Wyandott.es, 28; Mrs. W. O. Hail's white Leghorns, 28: 'Mr. H. Judge's silver Wvandottes, 28; Messrs. Drury and Rose's white Leghorns, 28. The highest totals to date are: Mr. T. Kennedy's silver Wvandottes, 546; N.Z. Poultry Journal Institute's white Leghorns, 464; Mr. A. Todan's white Leghorns, 451; Messrs. Drury and Pose's white Leghorns,, 426; Mr. Allan Petrie's white Leghorns', 416; Master W. Sail's white Leghorns, 410; Mr. W. A. Nixon's white Leghorns, 389; Mr. R. W. Hawke's white Leghorns, 387; Mr. W. P. Hudson's brown Leghorns, 371.
