NATIVE LAND COMMISSION .
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Monday.. The Native Land Commission sat to-day. Sir Robert Stout gave good advice to the natives to work more and drink less, and thus become a provident, good-living, useful, and prosperous race. He told them to cultivate the land, not to live idle lives, and warned the women, and especially the girls, to abstain from smoking, which injured their health and affected them in many ways.
