THE MASTERTON SEAT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Thursday. Mr. John Hunter, a, well-known contractor, is definitely .tnnov-ncwyi as the Opposition candidate for the Masterton seat, against Mi. Hogg, llio present member. Mr. Hunter is a member of the firm that built the Wellington Town Hall. In a recent borough election at Masterton, he secured a very heavy poll, and is said to be popular and a good speaker.
