SCARLET FEVER EPIDEMIC
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION ] Dvxeoix, Saturday. Scarlet lever is unusually prevalent in Otago -md Southland this winter, 45 cases being reported during the present month. For th« whole of June, 1906, there were only 19 cases, and in 1907 there were 12. Last mouth there were 59 cases.
