HABITUAL DRUNKARDS ACT.
«&, [IIV TKLEURA I'll. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christ-church, Tuesday. Mb. 11. W. Bishop,. S.M., stated at the Court this morning when dealing with a woman who had several convictions against her for procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition, order that he and his fel-low-magistrates were making an effort to get. the Habitual Drunkards Act amended, so that, convictions for breaches of prohibition orders would assist in qualifying a petson as an habitual drunkard.
